Embracing the opportunity to meet in person again, the Audiology Australia 2023 Conference is back with the theme ‘Reset. Reconnect. Reignite’. The conference attracts leaders in audiology and hearing technologies from around Australia and the world who will present on areas ranging from tinnitus, dementia and cochlear implants to ethics, artificial intelligence and digital burnout.
Keynote speakers include Dr Cliff Olson (USA), Dr Gabrielle Saunders (UK), Dr Christine Yoshinaga-Itano (USA), Dr Kristy Goodwin (Aus), Professor Fan-Gang Zeng (USA) and Dr Tim Dean (Aus), with the full scientific programme including seven streams with over 120 hours of presentations to choose from.
A day of 11 pre-conference masterclasses will kickstart the programme with topics including ‘Musicians and their hearing’, ‘Understanding government funding models’ and ‘Managing the dizzy patient’. A special workshop to support PhD students, facilitated by Professor Raj Shekhawat, has also been introduced this year to support the next generation of the profession.

The dinner – ‘Lights, Camera, Party!’ – will be an evening to remember, with the opportunity to ride a roller coaster at night and a few other surprises.
