Embracing the opportunity to meet in person again, the Audiology Australia 2023 Conference is back with the theme Reset. Reconnect. Reignite’The conference attracts leaders in audiology and hearing technologies from around Australia and the world who will present on areas ranging from tinnitus, dementia and cochlear implants to ethics, artificial intelligence and digital burnout.  

Keynote speakers include Dr Cliff Olson (USA), Dr Gabrielle Saunders (UK), Dr Christine Yoshinaga-Itano (USA), Dr Kristy Goodwin (Aus), Professor Fan-Gang Zeng (USA) and Dr Tim Dean (Aus), with the full scientific programme including seven streams with over 120 hours of presentations to choose from. 

A day of 11 pre-conference masterclasses will kickstart the programme with topics including ‘Musicians and their hearing’, ‘Understanding government funding models’ and ‘Managing the dizzy patient’. A special workshop to support PhD students, facilitated by Professor Raj Shekhawat, has also been introduced this year to support the next generation of the profession.  

Make the most of the opportunity to meet with top-name audiology, hearing and health brands on the exhibition floor with over 30 exhibitors supporting the event including Platinum Partners Audika, Cochlear and Starkey. 

With such an idyllic location to explore, we encourage attendees to Reset. and make the most of the relaxing beach vibes of the Gold Coast. To get you started, the social programme includes the Sunday Social on the pool deck of the Cali Beach Club, a welcome reception and an alfresco conference dinner at Warner Bros Movie World.  The dinner  Lights, Camera, Party!  will be an evening to remember, with the opportunity to ride a roller coaster at night and a few other surprises. 

If you can’t make it in person, a selection of presentations will be available as recordings post-conference with registration for virtual attendees opening in March.
