Registration is open for the British Academy of Audiology Annual Conference 2023. You are invited to join the BAA for its 19th annual conference and exhibition.
Clinical leaders and expert research professionals will provide clinic-changing presentations across a wide range of audiology topics. Keynote speakers include Barbra Timmer, who will present the Adrian Davis Lecture, ‘Hearing rehabilitation outcomes: our role in addressing well-being, stigma, and adapting audiology services’. Claire Benton will present the Bamford Lecture, ‘UK Paediatric Audiology: climbing a mountain or climbing out of a hole?’
Other invited keynote speakers include Nathan Proudlove on improving service quality, Angela Alexander on auditory processing disorder and Zoe Lord, Deputy Director, NHS England and NHS Improvement Horizons Team, who will speak about supporting change and engaging teams.
Key sessions across the two days include:
- adult hearing aid fitting practices
- care homes provision
- vestibular
- Paediatrics, including outcome measures
- cochlear implant workshop
- bone conduction and middle ear implant workshop
- genomics
- hearing care professionals with deafness or hearing loss
- quality assurance
- tinnitus
Ten free paper presentations have been allocated in the programme and registration has now closed for them.
