Presented in German and English, the online conference offers lectures at ‘basic’ and ‘advanced’ levels, giving everyone, from trainees to experienced masters, the opportunity to learn. Sessions cover public health politics, research, practical application and communication and, as well as 16 expert lectures, there is a special programme by manufacturers.
Expert lectures
The expert lectures deal with ‘AI in hearing systems,’ ‘Possibilities and opportunities of OTC hearing aids,’ ‘Audio therapy 2.0,’ as well as ‘The trueLOUDNESS fitting procedure in practice’. A novel approach to the ‘Therapy of developmental language disorders in children with hearing impairment’ will be presented. We will also ask, "How do we wish to fit hearing instruments in the future?" and what ‘new signal processing strategies’ are available.
‘Digitisation in hearing aid acoustics’ will be discussed, as will ‘Auditory processing disorders (APD) in adolescents and adults’ and ‘Smart safety in cases of emergency’. There will also be new findings on first fit, chronic tinnitus and frequency following responses. Finally, a new method for optimising quiet noises will be presented.
Manufacturers' programme
To complement the programme of specialist lectures, the EUHA offers a programme of sponsoring partners (in German only). Another six themed lectures, nine company profiles with contact details, and 20 electronic posters will provide additional information.
The themed lectures will focus on new features of state-of-the-art hearing systems. They will deal with digital services, audiological and technical highlights, attractive systems for a younger target group, artificial intelligence for better well-being and more security, a unique two-way signal processing strategy for improved speech intelligibility, a new CI processor that is smaller and smarter and also better connected, as well as with premium technologies in ITE, BTE and WHO 4-capable models. There will also be information about the protection of hearing systems – an attractive benefit for your customers.
