We would like to cordially invite you to our 5th Thyroid Course on 22.-23. January 2027 in Hamm/Westfalen, Germany, which will focus on thyroid and parathyroid surgery.
In addition to lectures by speakers from various fields, experienced surgeons from our field of ENT medicine will perform live thyroid and parathyroid surgeries. Furthermore, we have integrated an ultrasound course on the day before our actual surgical course, in which, among other things, the patient for the live operations the next day will be presented.
The lectures on the following day will highlight specific topics in thyroid/parathyroid surgery that are of general interest to every surgeon.
We would like to conclude our course with presentations on tertiary hyperparathyroidism, which is a specialised area of our parathyroid surgery and in which we rely on close cooperation with our colleagues in nephrology for the indication and follow-up, as our colleague Dlugos will explain in more detail in his presentation.
We hope that we have put together a programme that will be of interest to ENT specialists in particular, but also to doctors from other disciplines, and we would like to give you plenty of time for collegial exchange.
