The Confederation of the European Otorhinolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery (CEORL-HNS) will award 20 Observership Travel Grants to young ENT professionals aged 35 or under as part of its 2027 educational initiatives. These grants provide valuable opportunities for early-career specialists to gain practical experience and expand their expertise by undertaking an observership in a department in a European or non-European country.
Regular Observership Travel Grants of €1,000 are open to members of a national or subspecialty society, or individual members of the Confederation who are 35 years old or younger at the time of application.
EBEORL Observership Travel Grants of €1,300 for the same criteria with the additional requirement of having successfully passed the written part of the EBEORL exam.
Applicants are required to submit a statement of purpose, explaining your motivation for applying for the travel grant, interest in an observership, the intended host institution or location, and the possible dates. Applicants are responsible for identifying and arranging their own observership placements. The Confederation does not provide or facilitate observership opportunities.
The deadline for applying for the grants is 25 November 2026.
Results will be notified by December 2026 and grants disbursed in January 2027.
