Hearing Health & Technology Matters is now accepting submissions for the 7th Annual Hearing Technology Innovator Awards™, an international awards programme recognising technological innovation and achievement across the hearing industry.
The awards programme honours the products, services and technologies that are pushing the boundaries of hearing healthcare through innovation, accessibility and improved patient care.
This year's awards will recognise excellence in the following eight categories: Hearing Aids; Personal Listening Devices; Assistive Technology and Software; Service Delivery; Equipment; Auditory Implants; Hearing Conservation; Therapeutics.
All eligible entries will be presented for public voting, allowing the hearing healthcare community to help recognise the most innovative technologies. Voting will remain open for two weeks, and the submissions receiving the most votes in each subcategory will be named winners.
The prestigious Innovator of the Year award will be selected by an international panel of expert judges, who will choose the overall winner from among the subcategory winners.
Judging will be based on innovation, effectiveness, efficiency and utility.
Winners will be announced in October. As in previous years, category winners and the Innovator of the Year will be recognized during the Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA) AuDacity 2026 conference, taking place 1–4 October 2026, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Minneapolis, Minnesota, US.
Through the support of participating companies and sponsors, the programme has now raised more than $35,000 for nonprofit organisations dedicated to advancing hearing health, supporting research, and improving the lives of people with hearing loss, tinnitus, and related conditions.
Companies interested in submitting their products for the awards programme can submit their products here. The deadline for product submissions is 20 July 2026.
