Prof Kevin Munro.
The International Journal of Audiology (IJA) is pleased to congratulate authors, Drs Kevin Munroe, Kai Uus, Ibrahim Almufarrij, Nazia Chaudhuri and Veronica Yioe on their article, ‘Persistent self-reported changes in hearing and tinnitus in post-hospitalization COVID-19 cases’ for achieving the IJA Top Altmetric Score for #audiology, #COVID, #tinnitus research award. The article received the highest Altmetric score among all of Taylor and Francis journals for the end of March 2021. It has since exceeded its Altmetric score of 2020 (comprised from news, blogs, Twitter, Facebook, and Mendeley data).

As with all peer-reviewed journals, the International Journal of Audiology is dependent on engaging subject matter and expert reviewers to maintain quality evidence-based publications. IJA is delighted to announce the ‘Top Reviewer Award’ recipients for 2020 as: Drs Rob Eikelboom, Erin Picou and Rebecca Bennett. All reviewed a significant number of manuscripts while maintaining quality review ratings. As a token of appreciation, personalised engraved glasses were given to these remarkable contributors.
