Irish MedTech pioneer Tympany Medical has launched a €600,000 crowdfunding campaign via Crowdcube under the Employment and Investment Incentive Scheme (EIIS), offering a 50% tax rebate for Irish taxpayers. The campaign invites both seasoned and first-time investors to back innovation that improves surgical outcomes while supporting a sustainable healthcare future.

At the centre of Tympany Medical’s growth is Solascope, a next-generation endoscope platform designed for the 20 million procedures annually requiring endoscopic visualisation. Starting with ENT surgery, Solascope combines a variable-angle camera, integrated cleaning, and a hybrid single-use design: a sterile, disposable endoscope paired with a reusable handle. This reduces medical waste, improves patient safety, and enhances surgeon ergonomics, a clear step forward for modern surgery.
