Interacoustics is happy to introduce the Audible Contrast Threshold (ACT™) test; a new, diagnostic test to support the number one challenge with hearing loss: difficulty hearing speech in background noise.

ACT is a fast and accurate method to diagnose a person’s speech-in-noise ability, and the result of the test can be used by hearing care professionals to conduct personalized hearing aid fittings.

The EUHA congress in Germany will give visitors a chance to experience ACT demonstrations and attend a talk about the research behind the test by Søren Laugesen, Research Manager from Interacoustics Research Unit who has invented the test together with leading scientists from all over the world.

Information on the ACT test will also be available from the Interacoustics website where ACT will be launched online on October 18.
