Neuromod has partnered with specialty tinnitus care clinic HearConsult to make the Lenire® tinnitus treatment device available in the Netherlands.
Tinnitus affects over two million adults in the Netherlands. According to a recently published paper, the incidence of tinnitus in the Netherlands is on the rise, increasing by 33% between 2012 and 2021, with the largest increase seen in adults aged 20 to 44. Lenire’s clinically proven bimodal neuromodulation is addressing the needs of this rising, underserved patient population.
“After treating my tinnitus with Lenire, the tinnitus is much quieter, and it no longer annoys me,” said Utrecht-based researcher, Jan van Dam.
The Netherlands is the latest European country to make Lenire available, following successful launches in Canada, Portugal and further expansion in the UK.
Lenire is available in the Netherlands through HearConsult’s locations in Utrecht and Mijdrecht following a patient suitability assessment.
