Amman, Jordan – On December 3, 2025, Medency marked a significant milestone in the Middle East ENT market with the official launch of its RAPIDO ENT Blue Laser at the Landmark Hotel in Amman.
Partnering with local distributor Robotech Medical, the event showcased the device's precision and versatility through live clinical demonstrations and hands-on sessions, underscoring its potential to elevate ENT procedures for Jordanian specialists.
The day began at Jordan University Hospital, where a series of live clinical cases highlighted the RAPIDO ENT Blue Laser's efficacy under the guidance of Dr. Lubna Khreisha and Dr. Rabih Achour. Four procedures demonstrated its applications across common ENT pathologies:
- Patient 1 (8 years old): Recurrent Tonsillitis – Tonsillectomy + Examination Under Anesthesia (TS + EUA).
- Patient 2 (21 years old): Deviated Nasal Septum + Bilateral Concha Bullosa (DNS + BIL Concha Bullosa) – Septoplasty + Bilateral Decapping (SEPTO + BIL Decapping).
- Patient 3 (57 years old): Left Vocal Cord Nodule (LT VC Nodule) – Direct Laryngoscopy + Biopsy (DL + Biopsy).
- Patient 4 (39 years old): Deviated Nasal Septum + Right Concha Bullosa (DNS + RT Concha Bullosa) – Septoplasty + Right Turbinoplasty/Decapping ± Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty (SEPTO + Turbinoplasty RT / Decapping +/- UVPPP).
These cases exemplified the laser's blue wavelength precision for tissue ablation, hemostasis, and minimal invasiveness, delivering optimal outcomes with reduced recovery times.
The opening ceremony kicked off with thanks from Medency CEO Alessandro Boschi and Robotech CEO Amer Magableh to all attendees. It then featured Dr Rabih Achour's insightful overview of Robotech Medical's clinical experience, an engaging introduction by Medency's Sales Director Fatima Oukabar and a hands-on device demonstration attended by key ENT professionals.
