Puretone marked its 50th anniversary with a milestone celebration attended by some of the company’s closest and longest standing customers, suppliers, members of staff and friends.
Established in July 1976, Puretone has grown alongside the hearing industry while remaining an independent family business. The event included speeches, awards and entertainment, celebrating the people and relationships that have shaped the company over five decades.
Founder Jay Choudhry OBE reflected on Puretone’s history, while Managing Director Baz Choudhry spoke about its future. Baz also thanked his wife Uzma, his father Jay and his mother Sitwat for the important roles they have played in the Puretone story.
Long serving staff were recognised for their dedication, while the celebration looked ahead to the next generation of the family business through Layla and Dani Choudhry.
Baz said: “The hearing industry has changed dramatically over the past 50 years, and Puretone has continually adapted, evolved and innovated. Yet the values that have brought us here remain unchanged: integrity, commitment, quality, service and, above all, people. As we look ahead to the next 50 years, I am filled with optimism. We have a wonderful team, loyal customers, trusted suppliers and the next generation beginning their journey within the business. The future of Puretone is bright, and I am excited about what we can achieve together.”
