The Ménière’s Society is the UK’s leading vestibular charity. Their team is available to help patients access reliable information, source a vestibular specialist or talk to someone who understands what they’re going through. Thanks to a National Lottery grant, they’ve also updated their website so the information is even more accessible.

To date, the Ménière’s Society has invested over £1.2million into vestibular research through their ongoing research programme. Projects they’re currently funding include: Vertigo reduction by sensory attenuation; Risk factors for the development of bilateral Ménière’s and the development of a national Ménière’s disease registry and the Incidence, diagnosis and management of acute dizziness in the emergency department.

Balance Awareness Week, 19-25 September 2021 aims to increase understanding of the impact of vestibular disorders on people’s day to day lives.

Visit the website to find out more about projects the Ménière’s Society is currently funding, to get more support for patients or to participate in Balance Awareness Week.
