David Scott-Coombes is a consultant endocrine surgeon at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff. He is President-elect of European Society of Endocrine Surgeons and past-president of British Association of Endocrine and Thyroid Surgeons. He is past-Chairman of the European Examination Board of Surgery. For five years, he was the Director of Audit for BAETS and helped establish the web-based national registry. He has published on most aspects of endocrine surgery.
