I have been honoured to serve the global otolaryngology community as Global Ambassador for ENT & Audiology News. I have over 185 peer reviewed publication, have lead thyroid surgical missions in St Petersburg, Russia, Guangzhou, China, Kenya, rural India and in the Chernobyl region of the Ukraine. I have published Surgery of the Thyroid and Parathyroid Glands, now in its third edition, and The Recurrent and Superior Laryngeal Nerves. 

In the United States the dominant organisation for otolaryngology is the American Academy of Otolaryngology Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS). This is an organisation of nearly 12,000 otolaryngologists and represents an amazingly diverse group encompassing head, neck and skull base, thyroid and parathyroid endocrine surgery, otology/neurotology, sleep and snoring surgery, paediatric otolaryngology, laryngology, rhinology, facial plastics reconstruction and allergy. The AAO-HNS is truly a global organisation with collaborative interactions with multiple organisations around the world. I pledge to serve as a bridge between the AAO-HNS and the global community served by ENT & Audiology News. In addition the American Head and Neck Society (AHNS) is the main head, neck and endocrine surgical Society in US.
