David Pothier (1973-2018)
"Live not as thought there were a thousand years ahead of you. Fate is at your elbow; make yourself good while life and power are still yours."
– Marcus Aurelius
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
The late David Pothier (1973-2018) was a giant in the field of endoscopic ear surgery, and his expertise and gifted teaching skills have benefited many surgeons and their patients both in Canada and around the world.
Please consider a donation to the David Pothier Travelling Fellowship in Endoscopic Ear Surgery. This fellowship by the IWGEES group will be awarded annually beginning in 2019 to support a new endoscopic ear surgeon to travel to a leading international centre for observation in the operating room, clinic, and participation in hands-on dissection courses.
We look forward to formally announcing the successful funding and the first recipient of the David Pothier Traveling Fellowship in Endoscopic Ear Surgery at the 2019 World Congress in Boston Banquet, on June 14.
On behalf of the IWGEES and the many patients who have benefited from David's expertise and care, thank you so very much for your generosity.
