WCA Innovation Prize

At the World Congress of Audiology in Paris in September, a special prize was announced for the best innovation that addresses an unmet medical need. Candidates were selected from domains such as clinical trials or medical devices, and given five minutes and five slides to pitch in front of an international jury of researchers, clinicians, economists and industry professionals.

6th ENT Masterclass® China

The 6th ENT MASTERCLASS® CHINA was co-hosted by the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, Beijing Friendship Hospital of Capital Medical University and the Audiology Development Foundation of China. Notably, it was the first time the ENT masterclass took place outside of Beijing since its inception in China.

Obituary: John Noel Gleave Evans (1934-2022)

John Noel Gleave Evans DLO FRCS, formerly consultant otolaryngologist to St Thomas’ Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, died peacefully at home on 27 March 2022 at the age of 87.
