BAAP Mid-Year Symposium 2024: A Neurology-Neurotology Interface

British Association of Audiovestibular Physicians (BAAP) held its mid-year symposium virtually, attracting a global audience of audiovestibular and neurology professionals. Organised by Professor Soumit Dasgupta, Chair of the BAAP Education Committee, the half-day event focused on the complex interface between neurology and neurotology, specifically addressing neurodegenerative disorders and their impact on balance.

Women in Surgery photography exhibition

Three ENT consultants feature in an exhibition that shines a spotlight on women in surgery. ‘Insight: Portraits of Women in Surgery’ runs until mid-April at the Hunterian Museum within the Royal College of Surgeons in London. It brings together women surgeons from different surgical specialities, career stages and regions across the UK.

Medway Medical Fayres

For the last five years, Professor Rahul Kanegaonkar has been running Medway Medical Fayres for children in Kent, UK. Free to attend, the fayres take place at Medway Campus of Canterbury Christ Church University and allow 12–13-year-olds from less affluent backgrounds to experience a breadth of medical specialties.
