Remembering James F Jerger

Dr Jerger contributed remarkably to both the scientific basis and clinical practice of our profession. He passed away on July 24 at the age of 96 years. James F Jerger, PhD, was the Founder of the American Academy of Audiology and served as its first president. He was a gifted and prolific writer, a renowned scientist, and a beloved teacher and colleague.

The Hallpike Prize 2024

The Hallpike prize is awarded annually for the best project of the past 24 month period (research, audit or review of subject) in the area of audiovestibular medicine. The project can be unpublished, published or be in form of a presentation or poster, but the prize committee must be able to assess its quality from the available information provided within the application.
